Privacy Policy

MapFácil is an independent project based in Portugal. For data protection purposes, the data controller is the team that operates MapFácil, reachable at privacidade@mapfacil.com for any question relating to personal data.

When you make a quote request at mapfacil.com/orcamento, we collect:

• Your name, email address and, if you provide it, your phone number
• The request details: reason, deadline, space type and area, region and district
• The companies you chose to contact and the message you wrote
• The date of the request and the consent text shown to you

We do not collect data from people who only browse the directory without making a request, beyond technical logs and aggregate statistics that do not identify you.

We use your contact details solely to send your request to the companies you chose, so they can reply with a quote, and to contact you about that request if needed. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not combine it with other sources.

We share your contact details and request details only with the companies you expressly selected in the form. No other company receives your data.

We use service providers that process data on our behalf, under contract, namely Cloudflare, for site hosting, database and email delivery. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

We keep quote requests for 24 months and then delete them. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time by writing to privacidade@mapfacil.com, and we will do so without undue delay.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you and request a copy
• Ask for incorrect or incomplete data to be corrected
• Ask for your data to be deleted
• Object to processing or ask for it to be restricted
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacidade@mapfacil.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

MapFácil does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We collect aggregate usage statistics that measure the volume of visits and the path through the site without identifying you individually.

We may update this policy. The date above shows the last change. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
