About MapFácil

MapFácil helps building owners and operators find companies that handle fire safety plans (medidas de autoproteção, MAP), the fire safety documentation most buildings in Portugal are legally required to hold.

We bring companies in the sector together in one place, with what is known about their line of work and their service area, and connect requests from people who need help with the companies that can answer them.

MapFácil is a private, independent project. We have no connection to ANEPC (Portugal's national emergency and civil protection authority), the fire service, local councils or any other public body.

Some of the information we show comes from the public register of SCIE equipment and systems entities published by ANEPC, which is freely accessible and may be reused. MapFácil does not issue credentials, does not approve fire safety plans and does not replace the técnico autor the law requires.

Browsing the directory and requesting a quote is free, at no cost and with no obligation for anyone looking for a company.

In future, companies may pay to be featured in the directory or to receive contact requests. Anyone looking for a company never pays to use MapFácil.
